Segal Institute would like to thank everyone who came out to our 2014 company picnic! Nearly 75 people, including the South Florida research team and their family members, had a blast attending our sports-themed picnic.
In addition to games, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, and a competitive game of tug- of- war, we fired up the BBQ and then cooled down with snow cones. We also gave out an award for best sports-themed dress and recognized a few of our many outstanding employees based off nominations from co-workers.
We are fortunate to have an amazing team of exceptional individuals who are always willing to share an enthusiasm for the team as well as a dedication to and passion for medical research.
Congratulations to Swanzetta Palmer, Lashanda Georges, Jahayzel Martin, and Paul Martin for the most employee recognitions, as well as raffle winners Melissa Vinson and Jenny Rojas! And congratulations to the winner of the best spots-themed dress David Bejar!
