Lilisbeth Castillo is professionally trained to interpret and score psychological assessments and is actively involved in all aspects of placing future candidates in appropriate studies based on their specific physical and mental health symptoms. As a Clinical Rater at Segal Trials, Mrs. Castillo gathers relevant information during detailed examinations, and skillfully analyzes test results to properly diagnose potential candidates. Through her role, she regularly conducts neuropsychological evaluations, as well as cognitive tests by maintaining compliance with protocols covering patient care and clinical trials operations.

Mrs. Castillo completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Florida International University, and continued her education from there in order to earn a master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Lynn University. With over 5 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, Mrs. Castillo has partaken in first-hand experience with active participation in behavioral and pharmaceutical research. Throughout her undergraduate program she aimed to further advance her understanding of the various behaviors and emotions exhibited by both children and adolescents. Since then, Mrs. Castillo has gained an immense amount of knowledge by working in outpatient and inpatient mental health facilities across Miami Dade, which offered her the opportunity to treat patients with Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and Substance Abuse Disorders, to name a few. In addition, Mrs. Castillo has obtained vast experience in providing emotional support, advice, and education for patients who require assistance with healthy food preparation, independent and functional living skills, and necessary adjustments and adaptations to help overall quality of living with a specific disability or mental illness.
