• Lead Clinical Rater / Sub-Investigator

Melissa Schneider is the Lead Clinical Rater at Segal Trials. Working with both the Rating and Prescreening teams, Ms. Schneider ensures assessments and prescreens are completed accurately and efficiently, and assists in reaching site and study recruitment goals.

Melissa Schneider is a Clinical Rater on several clinical trials for various psychiatric indications including Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, etc. Ms. Schneider is certified on many cognitive, psychiatric, and diagnostic scales, and is responsible for obtaining sufficient psychiatric history to place patients in the appropriate clinical trial.

Ms. Schneider completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from The Florida State University, and earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. While completing her educational training Ms. Schneider worked on several research projects which included administering various psychological assessments. Prior to her work at Segal Trials, she was an Infant-Toddler Development Specialist working with children with developmental disorders.
